1. Learned German at school - didn't work, couldn't start speaking
2. Studied with a private tutor - didn't really work, she was too kind :)
3. Goethe Institute - kind of worked
4. 2 weeks in Germany in a language school with German family - WORKED!!! Got my DAAD scholarship to study in Dresden.
