I am not a fan of extreme diets...
-extreme protein-sparing
-extreme long fasting
-extreme low calorie
For those wanting to LOSE FAT MASS:
"Everyone should eat NOW the way they
will eat FOREVER, so:
-tweak protein up a little
-tweak carbs & fat down a little
-be at a slight caloric deficit
-cruise slowly to ideal body weight
-stay there

For those wanting to LOSE FAT MASS:
"Everyone should eat NOW the way they
will eat FOREVER, so:
-tweak protein up a little
-tweak carbs & fat down a little
-be at a slight caloric deficit
-cruise slowly to ideal body weight
-stay there
Slowly improve body comp:
-more lean mass; less fat mass
-enjoyable, sustainable,
-not damaging hormones

So: to lose weight safely, comfortably...
1-Track what you currently eat
2-Increase animal protein
3-Decrease refined carbs & refined fats
Do this gradually!
Enjoy the process!

Question: What if: getting high protein;
low carbs and fat; eating just 1200 cal;
but highly satiated...not hungry?
-Totally OK
-the fatter people are,
-longer can go with low calories
Example: if 500# overweight:
-could eat high protein 800 cal diet
-for weeks without hunger!
For those who are severely overweight,
excess energy in blood:
-protein sparing modified fast is best
