Jesus walks through the Valley of the Shadow of Death to the Place of Pressing, The Garden of Gethsemane. He faces not only His enemies but His betrayer also, yet He is in control of the events. Jesus obediently submits to His Fathers will as "His hour" arrives.
It wasn't the ropes that bound His hands, but His love for you.
Jesus knows what its like to be betrayed by one closest to Him. He knows what its like to endure pressing to the point of agony, to the extent that the soul of the Son of God was troubled.
There is much for us to learn and be encouraged by in this passage.
