On 8th of May 2023 I finished my first rotation on Everest. What does a rotation mean? It means that you go up to C3 to acclimatize and then come back for rest and waiting for summit push. You start (in the night) climbing Khumbu Icefall and reach C1 (6000m) where you will sleep one night. The next morning starting at 7 AM you go further to C2 (6400 m) where you will sleep one night, for then go further to C3 (7300 m) and come back to sleep at C2. If you are feeling good, the next morning you will descend back to Base Camp for rest and wait for the summit push.
