Margie is a once in a lifetime kind of horse! She is a favorite on our ranch and everyone loves her from the kids, the the beginners to the experienced ranch hands. Margie is fancy broke she was trained as a reiner and then went on to be a ranch horse. There isn’t anything she cant do from wrangling horses, to gathering cattle, to trail riding, to riding in town, she is solid broke. Margie is perfect for the weekend rider who wants that no nonsense relaxation trail ride or she will go everyday for the ranch hand needing a handy mount. Out on the trials or up in the mountains she is sure footed and solid. Goes where she is pointed and never gives any hassle. She has a good ground covering walk but is never hot or hyper. She will go down the trial on a loose rein, you can drop your reins and eat your lunch if you want to and not have to worry about Margie. Margie isn’t bothered by wildlife, we’ve had sage hens fly out from underneath her and she wasn’t bothered at all. We have doctored cattle on the mountain with her. Tie off hard and she will hold the rope while you step off and doctor the cattle. Margie has been to the Cody Night Rodeo carrying flags and being used as a judges horse. She is quite and will stand there during all the commotion, noise, and different events going on. Margie has been hauled to town, is traffic safe, great with the noise, lights, and crowds. In the arena she lope excellent circles, slides to a stop, spins. She is soft in the bridle and moves well off your seat and legs. We have started Margie on mounted shooting. She is ready to go start hauling for completion and she is perfect for any level of rider. Margie would also make an excellent brood mare with her top of the line pedigree sired by Chromed out Mercedes (LTE $146,650+ NRHA Million Dollar Sire) Out of a daughter of Colonels Smokingun (NRHA Hall of Fame & 10 Million Dollar Sire) Margie has it all, confirmation, disposition, training and pedigree. Margie stands well for the farrier and the vet. She is up to date on worming, vaccinations and farrier. Margie comes with complete dental, farrier, vet records and health exam.
