Players who fail the first stage of DDR A20 Plus without e-Amusement, or without passing Level 7 or higher, play "This Beat is....." with alternative steps known as "Let's Check Your Level!"

Konami lists these steps as Beginner on Level 1, but the real difficulty is more in line with Basic on Level 4.
