Every day, day and night, the crews of the Tor anti-aircraft missile systems of the Western Military District in the Kupyansk direction scan the sky. As soon as the zone of responsibility includes any air object that does not respond to the ‘friend or foe’ request, the crews take it for escort and are ready to hit the target.

On rough terrain, like on asphalt, the carefully camouflaged Tor-M2 air defence system is advanced to the starting position. Although the weapon is universal, it does not need to leave for firing. This is an air defence system capable of firing missiles at full speed and calculating up to four targets at the same time.

The detection station scans the sky at 360 degrees and at a distance of more than 30 kilometres. The guidance and tracking station automatically identifies and captures the most dangerous targets.

Such air defence systems eliminate aircraft, helicopters, drones and even ballistic missiles at very high altitudes and long distances. Tor is equipped with an automatic transmission, a digital platform, all-round cameras. It even has air conditioning. This machine can work in any weather.
