CM Punk FIRED From AEW! Tony Khan Pulls the Plug the DAY BEFORE All Out in CHICAGO! WWE Bound?

AEW officially terminates the contract of Phil Brooks (CM Punk), with cause, effectively immediately. Tony Khan made the announcement and backed it up on tonight's episode of Collision, marking the end of the worst 2 years of AEW under Punk's tyrannical mood swings.

He was nothing but a headache that eventually was too much to deal with. The biggest merchandise mover and biggest name associated with the company found a way to make the most financially successful week in the short history of AEW all about him. Coupled with so many other issues, that's why he needed to go.

If it wasn't a fight with Jack Perry, it would have been someone else eventually. Punk is a ticking time bomb, or pipe bomb. Now he has nowhere else to explode.

Unless WWE is looking to take a flier, but that doesn't seem likely...
