Free Weights vs Machines | What is Better?

In this video I discuss my opinion on what is better for muscle growth (hypertrophy)/strength between free weights and machines and how I would recommend going about setting up a lifting session. Free weights for me will always be the better choice over machines. It is where 80% of my gains came from, I believe in starting your sessions with free weights (the main bulk of work) and then finishing the session with machines. In my eyes machines should always been used as accessory movements and never as the main compound lifts unless you are on a de-load. Free Weights beat Machines everyday of the week.
