Marketers and sales people are the master teachers of our time, not because what they do is nobel. Simply because they are required to educate in order to do their jobs and they are unconstrained by a system of one size fits all and encumbered by government.
With that if you want to be a great teacher you can follow their example and apply the same techniques to the end of pure education which is really guiding a student on a journey of discovering what they really want to learn but are not yet aware of.
