According to Apollo 17 astronaut Gene Cernan every Apollo astronaut took a sniff of lunar dust. After every moonwalk, some dust clung to their space suit and reached inside the lander. After they removed their Spacesuits, since the moondust was inside a lander, Astronauts accidentally took a sniff. They got a significant reaction to the dust, which ended up as lunar hay fever.
