Back in the day, before corporations took over all of the local television stations, said station would try to maintain a local feel that extended beyond the news. Penny Dreadful [Shilling Shockers] Penny Dreadful XIII is the witch hostess of Penny Dreadful's Shilling Shockers. She delights in the macabre and is known for saying “hex-cellent” a lot. Her personality is an intermingling of light and dark elements. She can be very silly and sinister by turns, with a withering wit and a dramatic gaze. Penny wields many mysterious powers that she acquired in the 1300's. Whispered tales refer to these powers coming from an infernal pact made in her childhood. Penny has neither confirmed nor denied these rumors, but becomes melancholy when reminded of those “tragic” times. Penny originally became a horror film hostess as the result of a fouled-up magic spell. However, she recently removed that spell and placed it upon her viewers so that they are now forced to watch Shilling Shockers. Penny continues to host the show because she enjoys “revealing the forbidden fruits of the night” to her “Dreary Ones.” Manfred Von Bulow also maintains that Penny is “kind of a ham” and will take “any opportunity to get screen time.” During her years at Horror High School, Penny was a member of the Melodrama Club and acted in the Senior Grand Guignol. She also dated several famous monsters as a teen, which earned her a somewhat sordid reputation. The Society To Kill And Annihilate Evil Supernaturals (S.T.A.K.E.S.) accidentally destroyed Penny in the mid-16th century during a drunken "gathering", but Garou the werewolf resurrected her one hundred years later. Penny and Garou fell in mad monster love and were married. They now make their home in a dusty old New England attic where Penny transmits Shilling Shockers over the scare-waves via black magic. We met so many people that were like us, fans of monster movies and memorabilia. Also we met Horror Hosts such as Penny Dreadful, Dr.Ivan Cryptosis, and Count Gore DeVol. Everyone had such a great time and doing exactly what they loved. So we returned another year and another. In 2011 I decided that I had the technology and plus I have been living the monster way of life my whole life - living in a Monster Museum seemed it seemed perfectly logical to be a Horror Host. I knew that getting on a cable TV station or any TV station would be virtually impossible, so the next best thing was the Internet. Bobby Gammonster - Internet Horror Host was born or rather came out of the coffin. I have met and received much support from fellow horror hosts who also are on the internet. Weirdness Really Bad Movie If you grew up in Northeast Ohio chances is you tuned in to Ghoulardi, Hoolihan and Big Chuck, or Big Chuck and Lil' John. Presenting some really bad movies they not only made them tolerable - but made us tune in to them every Friday night, and then later Saturday nights. These shows were made great because of the comedy sketches that interrupted the movies. We would splash our faces with water or run around the room just to keep awake so we could keep awake for the pajama party after the movie. Big Chuck left the movie hosting duties a few years back and I got to missing the fun that they gave us every week, so I got some friends together to make some of our own fun and squeeze our sketches into public domain movies. We don't have the time to do this every week but we are able together one show a month.
