We are doing a 6 episode series on the progression of the Underground Railroad from 1800 to the 1860s. And hopefully by the end of it, you’ll understand a little more of how slavery came to an end.

An act to prohibit the carrying on of the slave trade from the United States, to any foreign place or country.
1807 – Great Britain bans the slave trade through the Slave Trade Act
1808 – United States bans the slave trade through the Slave Trade Act
