Maui Alarm Has Many Alerts, Not ONLY Tsunami, The Security Guy Is Telling You Lies

Regarding the Maui Siren/Alert System; The claim that he did not want to alert the siren on account of confusing the residents is a lie. Or he didn't know WTF is going on. The system is easy, and has many alert tones. I was a security guard at a petroleum terminal. One of my jobs was to monitor weather conditions. Upon receiving the call on the radio, or when weather conditions permitted, I triggered the alert system. Things like heavy wind, bad weather, shelter in place, were all programmed into the system by the manufacturer/installer. It is why it is called an All-Alert system. In order to be qualified to operate this system, the operator must be certified that they know all of the rules and regulations involved when operating this system. The test is really easy though, it does not require a degree to be able to understand it. If you can read "Fire" and "send", you can operate the system. This guy who was responsible for not triggering the alert system on August the 8th on Maui, is, either a liar, or he was told to lie by someone above him. Word is, he quit his job soon after this event happened.
