【REACTION】Super Mario Bros Wonder looks good! There's a BADGE SYSTEM? | Nintendo Direct 8/31/2023

October gets closer and closer everyday, and in lieu of this Nintendo thought it was a good idea to host a direct details more features and gameplay additions coming to Super Mario Bros Wonder! The newest entry in the 2D Mario series has finally dropped the "New" monicker, signifying to me this is Nintendo's attempt at steering away from that formula to take it someplace new.

How did Nintendo do in conveying this, if at all?
