William Wood Valient - Bronze Special Edition Dive Watch - Leaking in the Spanish Sun :(

One of my favourite watches has bitten the dust at just 3 years old.

I love my bronze Valient watch and it's on my watch rotation list and frequently worn. Just light regular wearing, office work, restaurants, dangled out of the drivers door while cruising the Costa Blanca roads and generally admired while glistening in the sun. Until a few weeks ago... got home and took a float in the pool and when I got out I noticed it had a small bubble of water in the glass face. Despite all tight seals and the only thing I did was rotate the bezel/diver-timer so I suspect that's how it got in.

Sadly #williamwoods warranty doesn't cover water damage - strange for a dive watch but I understand.

I have to commend the team at WW for their sales Support and answering of emails for the first problem I had with this watch (it locked up after a year of wearing). Their support team got it mailed back and fixed without charge.

That's part of the reason I bought a second William Wood Watch in Stainless Steel!

Just bad luck for me that on the bring of the 3 year warranty period ending, and pool water ingress stops play. Sad for me - but their offer of $500 to fix it, considering it cost a $1000 to buy is reasonable I think.

I know it's cheeky to ask for some help from the #williamwoodwatches guys... but... don't ask, don't get ;)
