Trump pushes back on allegations he inflated net worth, claims he was defamed

Former President Trump vehemently refuted allegations made by New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) that he substantially overstated his net worth.

Trump asserted that the state had “defamed” him and contended that the accusations amounted to interference with the election.

In court documents filed on Wednesday, Attorney General Letitia James accused Trump of inflating his net worth by $2.2 billion, The Hill reported.
