The MHA (Mandan, Hidatsa, Arikara) Nation hosted a fantastic Rodeo Finals in Twin Buttes, North Dakota. People of all ages competed fiercely, aiming for top titles and enticing prizes. Tisa Peek from Dakota Horse Magazine got the inside scoop, catching up with big names like Kiera Mavity, Marvin Driver, and Kroy Fitzpatrick.

The MHA Nation rodeos symbolize a blend of tradition, horsepower, and spirited competition. Whether at Twin Buttes or the Healing Horse Ranch in Parshall, these events epitomize the collaboration between the community and rodeo professionals, ensuring the enduring vibrancy of rodeo culture.

In South Dakota's Black Hills, Wild Bill and his team are making waves with their iconic country music events, affectionately termed "The Opry". Kimberly Bachman, a talent from the region, collaborates with Bill in this musical endeavor. They've had unforgettable moments at The Historic Homestake Opera House in Lead, SD. In a recent catch-up, the two reminisced about their shared adventures, supplemented with images of the renowned venue.

Tim Feland, a Bismarck, ND native, has been into roping since he was four. His journey took him from high school rodeo championships to a full scholarship at Dawson College. In the rodeo world, Tim's name stands out. His crowning moment came in 1985 when he won multiple titles and was declared the All-around Rookie of the Year. Courtesy of Torgerson Auto Center, Tim was recently highlighted in the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame. Additionally, a tip of the hat to Breece Oakland from Hazleton High - he's currently shining as the Dakota Cowboy Student Rodeo Athlete of the week.
