On the 84 year anniversary of the start of World War II, I go into an explanation of why we feel we’re on the cusp of another major historical event, due to the ever increasing power of corporations, and the ever smaller window of opportunity for retribution, and meaningful justice. I explain how I was a beneficiary of a class action suit at an old employer, who was under paying wages, how I held my cell phone carrier to account when Apple was involved in a class action suit for selling faulty phones, how a Facebook data breach resulted in a class action suit that is still ongoing, how my bank fraudulently charged people overdraft fees when they throttled deposits to come after debits so that you were more likely to overdraft, and finally we touch on the Johnson and Johnson class action suit involving carcinogenic, a.k.a. cancer-causing, talcum powder, a.k.a. baby powder, and the difficulties people face by risking their jobs and livelihoods to be involved in class action lawsuits
