The Great Lake Ronkonkoma Duck Rescue

We went to Lake Ronkonkoma to rescue some Pekin Ducks that some inconsiderate person has dumped in the lake. These birds, which are unable to fly, have no chance of surviving the winter.I brought in Nesconset Fire Department Water Rescue resources to assist in the operation. Once captured, the ducks will be examined by a veterinarian and transported to a sanctuary upstate NY. Thanks to Patricia Amendolia for her outstanding net work!
