After the session ended in 2023, almost every republican GA senator had a private meeting with Ron DeSantis and wife. And then had a private meeting with GA house leadership. And then had a private lunch with Governor Kemp.
In GA we passed a law that if a rogue district attorney is not following the law then a complaint can be filed and an investigation would happen. The general assembly already has the constitutional authority for oversight and defunding. The prosecutorial committee is not in place and it is under scrutiny. 28-1-16 is the GA code that gives them subpoena power to investigate.
Andrew Clyde has introduced through appropriations to defund Jack Smith, Alvin Bragg and Fani Willis. The freedom caucus in DC stood their ground in raising the debt ceiling. We have spending resolutions and appropriations coming after Labor day.
What is Congress doing when we have someone in the Oval Office that is being allowed to send so much money to Ukraine, China, etc… There are a lot of emails out there and evidence to impeach Biden.
Biden has introduced a law, which Obama tried to do, to change the limit to 55K. Right now if you are a salaried manager making 35K you don’t get overtime. This new law ups the limit and is revisited every 3 years.
