I am taking it easy for a few days after the sail but it is time for my honest opinion of how my first long offshore solo sail REALLY went and how I planned the trip. Every cruiser I talk to fears the Mona Passage, and rightfully so... it can get intense; therefore I also wanted to explain why and how you can time this passage with the wind and currents.
