When Jurors Don't Follow Instructions, Chaos Ensues

Jurors in a criminal trial in the Seventh Circuit kept sending notes to the judge in spite of admonitions not to deliberate prematurely, and that the judge could not comment on the evidence. But the appellate decision stopped short of reversing the guilty verdict.
