In August 2023, Apostle John Eckhardt taught on Psalms 23, highlighting the verse, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me” (Psalms 23:4 KJV). This verse contains amazing deliverance from fear.

The valley represents a low, dark place where death looms. It is a place of despair and hopelessness. The psalmist says he walks through this valley of the shadow of death but will fear no evil.

The fear of death torments many people. But the psalmist, knowing the Lord is his shepherd, says he will not be afraid. With God's presence, we can overcome the fear of death and every other fear.

We don't have to be afraid because God's rod and staff comfort us. His presence delivers us from fear. We can confidently say, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me.”

This verse contains amazing deliverance from fear. When we know God is with us, we can overcome fear of evil, fear of enemies, fear of witchcraft, and even fear of death. We can boldly declare, “I will fear no evil!"
