Ross Cameron is a former Liberal Party member of federal parliament, representing the division of Parramatta from 1996 – 2004. During his time in active politics, he served three terms in the Howard Government as Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer Peter Costello.

Since leaving politics, Ross has worked as a political commentator for the Sydney Morning Herald, the ABC and as an anchor for the Outsiders program for SkyNews Australia with Mark Latham.

Known as a classicalist, Ross is known for his love of ancient world, especially Marcus Aurelius and the sages of Greece. He has also become known for his accurate political predications against the perceived narrative and predicated Brexit, the Trump Presidency and the Scott Morrison 2019 upset.

Recently, after critiquing the Liberal Berejiklian NSW State Government, Ross was punished with 5-year suspension from the Liberal Party. This resulted in his resignation for the Liberal Party and joining the Liberal Democrats and eventually elected him President of the NSW division.
