Leaving residual in a drought allowed our old cocklebur field to spring back to life! With the recent rain, our previously brown field turned into a green salad bar. Leaving 6-8" of forage residual when we last grazed this paddock in the drought allowed it to spring back to life when it received moisture.
If you are looking for some great sheep & guardian dogs, check out our on-line auction on our website: http://greenpasturesfarm.net/parasite-resistant-ewe-and-ram-lambs/
