The 2030 problem is when all the boomers are going to be in retirement homes or graveyards, and this means the hikikomori won't be able to leech off them anymore. This is only true for the boomers that are below the average net worth, and can't simply pass their home down to their children. How will these coddled millennials fair without their parents to cushion them from the harsh economy?
