The Senate Rejecting to Help? These Characters Take Matters into Their Own Hands & Join The Fight

By the time of Ahsoka episode 3's ending, the New Republic Committee opts not to aid Hera's plight, much to the frustration of the Twi'lek who is all too aware of the threat Grand Admiral Thrawn poses to the galaxy. For reasons not explicitly mentioned yet implied, the New Republic Defense Fleet committee denies Hera's request to send aid to Sabine and Ahsoka, who make it to the Denab system full of Imperial sympathizers and imminent dangers. In light of the New Republic's decision, it is worth exploring the members of the Defense Committee, the powers they hold, and their Star Wars past, present, and future.
