The department of justice filed a lawsuit against the state of Texas over a buoy barrier, which was installed in the Rio Grande river in the Eagle Pass, Texas to secure the southern border as part of Governor Greg Abbott’s operation, Lonestar
This comes after several failed attempts from the governor to get the Biden administration to secure our southern border
The barrier is so effective at slowing down, migrant crossings that the department of justice has filed a lawsuit against the state of Texas
As of right now, the judge presiding over the case, has not made a decision yet, and the case will likely end up in the Supreme Court
