Maz is known for playing Moly in Ice Cube’s “Friday After Next,” and Jafar in Disney’s “Descendants.” He has also been on TV’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Shameless,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and more. He’s given 2 TED talks, is a best selling author and is a regular panelist on NPR’s “Wait Wait, Don’t Tell Me.” In 2016 Maz performed at the White House and had the privilege of introducing Michelle Obama during an event celebrating Nowruz.
