A Cosmic Tarantula captured by the James Webb

This is the Tarantula Nebula (NGC 2070) a stellar nursery also called "30 Doradus" that is 161,000 light years away in the Large Magellanic Cloud.

Webb's NIRcam and MIRI images allow us to see never-before-seen details of this Cosmic Tarantula.
