Sen. Mitch McConnell appears to freeze again at a Kentucky event

On Wednesday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell once again appeared to pause in thought during a conversation with reporters in Covington, Kentucky.

This pause lasted for over 30 seconds when he was queried about the possibility of running for re-election.

It’s noteworthy that this isn’t the first time McConnell, a Republican from Kentucky, has experienced such a moment, NBC News reported.

In July, he encountered a similar pause during a news conference on Capitol Hill, remaining silent for 19 seconds before departing from the cameras briefly. Upon his return, McConnell reassured reporters that he was alright.
