The Biden administration has proposed a new rule that would extend overtime pay to millions of workers across the country. The rule would raise the cap on income, from $35,000 to $55,000, for salaried workers. These workers currently can be required to work more than 40 hours per week without additional compensation, and the new rule will put an end to that.
