Most of those "fixer upper" situations you have to realize was probably wrenched on by less than skilled occupants. Shoddy, improper, improvised wiring etc. Be as self sufficient as possible and be prepared to correct or replace much of the wiring. Old mobile homes will have black mold and as soon as you start pulling out that drywall, expect to find live outlets completely covered over. In Kentucky, mobile homes over 25 years are un insurable so protect your investment and get your eyes on ALL wiring.
