VIDEO: Man Throws Phone at Guard, She Shoots Back 11 Times: Lawful?

A female security guard in a New Orleans library found herself the target of a man's ire.

As the man ran from the library with the guard in pursuit, he purportedly threw both a rock and his cell phone at her, then continued fleeing.

Her response? To draw her pistol and shoot at him 11 times, striking him 7 times. At last report, the man was in the hospital and expected to survive his gunshot wounds.

The throwing and shooting was captured on video from two angles, and we'll break down that video in our usual plain-English Law of Self Defense style. Could this possibly be a lawful use of deadly defensive force by the security guard?
