One of the most well-known of these apparitions is the one that took place at Fatima, Portugal, in 1917. In the third of the Fatima apparitions, the Blessed Virgin Mary is said to have told the three shepherd children that "wars will cease, but not before there will be a great fight. Bishops will be against bishops."

There are other alleged apparitions in which the Blessed Virgin Mary is said to have made similar predictions. For example, in an apparition that took place in Akita, Japan, in 1973, the Blessed Virgin Mary is said to have told a Japanese nun named Agnes Sasagawa that "the work of the devil will infiltrate even the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops opposing bishops."

Pope Francis pens a letter to Archbishop Víctor Manuel Fernández who succeeds Cardinal Luis Francisco Ladaria Ferrer as Prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith asking him to promote impetus for the transmission of the faith in the service of evangelization.
Now most novus ordo Catholics h ave never heard of this archbishop nor have their pastors spoken about the effect of his appointment. This is just more or the news black out the church has been doing to its faithful for over 60 years and why should they stop niw.
So let me bring you up to speed.
Traditional Catholics believe that Archbishop Víctor Manuel Fernández is the wrong person to be ahead of the doctrine of the faith because of his perceived association with liberal theology. Fernández is a close advisor to Pope Francis and has been praised by the Pope for his work on the book "The Joy of Love", which some traditional Catholics believe is too liberal in its interpretation of Catholic doctrine on marriage and family.

Specifically, traditional Catholics are concerned about Fernández's views on the following issues:

The ordination of women: Fernández has said that he is open to the possibility of women being ordained as deacons, which is a step towards the priesthood.
Same-sex marriage: Fernández has said that he believes same-sex couples should be able to have civil unions, but not be married in the Catholic Church.
Communion for divorced and remarried Catholics: Fernández has said that he believes divorced and remarried Catholics should be able to receive Communion, even if they have not obtained an annulment from the Church.
Traditional Catholics believe that these views are in conflict with Catholic doctrine and that Fernández is not the right person to be leading the Church on matters of doctrine. They also believe that Fernández's appointment as head of the doctrine office is a sign that Pope Francis is not committed to upholding traditional Catholic teaching.
Now when Fr Murr was asked about Fernandez he said it is not just a bad appointment it is a disaster for the church.
I want to have you listen to an interview by Bishop Strictland on the subject of what is happening to the leadership of the church and you will get a small glimpse of what our blessed mother is talking about.
