What Dribbble's redesign really means...

Dribbble rebranded and while most people talk about the new logo or the new landing page (they're both very nice) I wanted to talk about a more important topic here.
What does this change mean to the post-design industry? It is a huge departure from the previous focus on design work itself and has focused on "selling" a job board of designers.
So UI designs and animations used to be the product, but now it's people.
I've been talking about this shift for a while - we're losing creativity and innovation towards cheap, repeatable, unoriginal stuff that's just "easy to implement" and sadly I believe this is another step in that direction...
I loved you Dribbble - you were a special part of my journey. Sad to see you go.
