Donnie Brasco is a great movie based on the life of Joe d pistone as he infiltrates the mafia and befriends an aging hitman, sonny ruggiero. the movie is really suspenseful and you feel the danger depp is under at all times. even now, the real life joe pistone has to live under an assumed name with his family as there is a 500,000 open contract on him. al Pacino is good and not too cringey. the atmosphere and friendship of pistone and ruggiero really Shines through and makes the movie. watch it for yourself and find out. comment below what you think of Donnie Brasco.
