Is Battery Operated Equipment Really Less In Maintenace Costs? #shorts

I will never dispute that battery-operated equipment is normally easier to use, but 98 percent of the time, it is less powerful and just as expensive as the gas counterpart. the issue we have it that new batteries last less than 5 years on average, and the cost to replace them is normally just as much as the complete tool was. We end up with low quality equipment that is in need of constant replacement.
This is great for the companies who make and sell these items, but not good for the consumer or the planet!
