Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna (LoA for short) is an expansion pack for Dungeon Siege. It was created by Mad Doc Software and Gas Powered Games, shortly after Dungeon Siege.

Just like in the Original Dungeon Siege, gameplay is centered around a point and click method of moving and fighting, and where the character could collect, sell, and equip new items. The expansion pack adds Set Items (the more of a set you find, the stronger the items in that set will be) and many new weapons, armour, and spells.

The game is mainly set at the island of Utrae, a large island, located off of western Aranna across the Aran Ocean northwest of Arhok, from which the ancient Utraeans ruled their mighty empire. You start the game at Arhok though, a walled town located in the frigid northwestern corner of Aranna, it had been built several decades before Gom's escape from his dungeon, it was established in the matte of a year with a small population, a 10th Legion garrison, and heavy defenses to defend from raiders who are often tried to enter Ehb. Trade quickly picked up when Ehb's prosperity was learned of in Ilyvara and the Plain of Tears, and Arhok then became one of the few small trading posts in the Northern Mountains, also it is the closest human settlement to the island of Utrae and due to these conditions the town prospered, the small population relies on storage during the harsh winter since Arhok is surrounded by wildlife such as wolves, spiders and more.
