The Gruha Lakshmi Yojana was launched in Mysore, On this occasion, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, DCM D.K. Shivakumar, Women and Child Welfare Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar, and many dignitaries were present.

Under this scheme, all eligible women of the state will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 2,000. This scheme will benefit 2.5 crore women of the state.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said, "The Gruha Lakshmi Yojana will help women become self-reliant and improve their economic status. This scheme will play an important role in the economic development of the state."

DCM D.K. Shivakumar said, "The Gruha Lakshmi Yojana is an ambitious project of the Congress government. This project will give social and economic power to women."

Women and Child Welfare Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar said, "Gruha Lakshmi Yojana is a big boon for the women of the state. This scheme will empower women and help them become self-reliant."

Before launching the scheme, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah inaugurated the Mysore in Mysore . Later, he distributed RS 2000 through DBT to women.
