Embers of Armageddon + Sunlust | Map 28 | Ultra-Violence 100%

Another beast of a map with tense encounters, cool visuals, and good BGM. Some very close calls here because I make lots of stupid mistakes.

This map is longer than it should be because I backtrack to make sure I grabbed all the things (for 100% item collection because OCD or whatever). I also take some time to upgrade the Ammo Boost rune so I don't feel so strapped for BFG cells in the last 2 maps.

Btw, in case anyone is wondering why I've been dumping Argent Cells into ammo instead of armor, it's mostly because Mega Health spheres are far more common than armor in wads such as Sunlust. Because of that, and because I only just now regained the Armored Offensive rune, it seemed like a waste to use Argent Cells on armor. (Plus, I don't exactly use my ammo efficiently, so the more, the better.) In most other wads, I'd either upgrade ammo once, then dump everything into armor, or alternate between ammo and armor.
