Surely you know it too. You want to watch TV relaxed, switch back and forth with the remote control, but suddenly nothing works. The batteries in the remote control are empty. You look, but you don't have the right batteries at home. So what can you do? Alufoil can actually help you out here, and I'll show you exactly how it works in this video!

Because you can enlarge too small batteries with a piece of aluminum foil. Of course, this works not only with the remote control, but with all devices that need a battery where you have only too small batteries.

All you have to do is fold a small piece of aluminum foil and use it as a connection between the battery and the contact in the remote control. You're kind of extending the battery. Because aluminum foil conducts and so your remote control works again, although you don't have the right batteries at hand. The next time you have the right batteries at hand and not just the too small ones, you can simply replace them.
