When you eat an orange, what do you do with the peel afterwards? In the best case, you don't throw it away, at least not directly. Because with the peel of an orange you can make a very simple all-purpose cleaner yourself! This is free of chemicals, extremely cheap to produce and really cleans incredibly well. For this it does not have to be directly orange peel, you can also take lemons, for example. The main thing is that they are citrus fruits.

All you need is vinegar, the peels of lemons and a container which you can close. I took a canning jar here and put all the orange peels in there. You can also chop them up a bit if they are still too big. When the jar is full of orange peels, you fill it up with regular vinegar. Just until all the peels are really under the vinegar. Then close the jar and wait.

A good 2-3 weeks should pass before you can use the homemade all-purpose cleaner. If the vinegar becomes less with time, you should fill the whole in between once, so that the orange peels are just under the vinegar. After 2-3 weeks, the whole then once tilt through a sieve. Because we only need the liquid. Now you can throw away the orange peels, but at least you have used them once before. You can now pour the liquid into a spray bottle or the bottle of an old cleaner and then use it directly.

This homemade all-purpose cleaner cleans excellently, has a lime dissolving effect and also smells like fresh oranges. So instead of buying expensive cleaners in the future that are full of chemicals, you can simply make your own all-purpose cleaner this way. Try it out absolutely once. You can optimally clean your bathroom or even your kitchen!
