The sink always looks somehow dirty, even shortly after cleaning the first lime spots and water deposits are visible again. Of course, you can wipe the sink once briefly and then the problem has settled for now, but the dirt is also quickly back.

Fortunately, there is a little cleaning trick that will not only make your sink shine much brighter, but also keep it clean much longer! For this we need only a few home remedies and some baby oil. How exactly this trick works, I show you step by step in the video.

First we need to clean the sink once, yes there we unfortunately do not get around ;) However, we do that with some baking soda and a dash of vinegar. Both mixed together makes a cleaning paste that we can spread in the sink and on all stainless steel surfaces. Once that's done, we'll let this mixture sit for about 30 minutes first. After that, you can just rinse it off and you should have a sink that is much cleaner right away. Stubborn dirt you may have to sponge off again, as well as all the places where you have not reached with the water.

Now the sink shines again and is already cleaned. Everything again thoroughly dry wipe and then comes the baby oil to use! Take a piece of household roll, put a few drops of baby oil on it and "polish" your sink and the stainless steel surfaces. The baby oil seals the surface. This not only makes it shine much more than before, but also makes it much harder for limescale and water deposits to adhere. Depending on the hardness of your water and how often you use your sink, this sealant lasts up to several weeks and the constant scrubbing of the sink is history.
