Hey Teachers Gadsden Flag is from Revolutionary War Not Civil War

Twelve year old Jaiden was kicked out of class for having the Gadsden flag on his backpack, which the school claimed has its "origins with slavery" and was "disruptive to the classroom environment." Believing in freedom, Jaiden left the class and he and his mother met with a school official who didn't even know that the Gadsden Flag is from before the American Revolutionary War, and "a symbol of resistance against British rule, a rallying cry, a symbol of unity, a declaration of independence, a testament to the indomitable spirit of a nation on the brink of birth." The Gadsden flag did not come from the Civil War period and it has nothing to do with racism.
