Fresh onshore flow of ocean air brings similar highs to yesterday, which means moderate air quality and a high of 96 in Bakersfield this afternoon. The Kern River Valley will top out in the upper 80s and lower 90s with the south mountains of Tehachapi and Frazier Park basking in the lower 80s. Pine Mountain Club and Bear Valley Springs get the best weather of all with afternoon highs in the 70s! The desert is of course warmer with highs in the 100s for Ridgecrest, California City and Edwards.
