If you gaze out into the night sky on August 30th you will be able to view the Blue Moon.

The incredible part about this sighting is that you will also see Saturn, which will be right alongside the moon.

Tom Anderson, the president of the Lethbridge Astronomy Society explains why it is called a Blue Moon.

According to Anderson you will be able to view the Blue Moon on Wednesday evening right as the sun sets around 8:21pm MT.
