We Had To Go UNDER The Interstate! (Quartz Flat Lolo Forest, MT)

In this episode of Wandering Wagners we traveled back into Montana to Lolo National Forest to the Quartz Flat Campground in Superior, Montana. This park is unique because you have to exit into a Rest Area to access this park. It almost makes you wonder if it's a rest area or a campground! Once you enter, it quickly turns into a very scenic campground, half of which is on the South side of the interstate and the other half is on the North side. To get to the North side you have to go UNDER the interstate via a one way tunnel! This was crazy! We weren't sure our Nexus Wraith Super C RV would fit because of the curvature, but we did and it was pretty awesome. The entire campground is dry, so there's no power, but they do have dump stations and fresh water spigots, but no bathrooms.
We were able to do a trail hike here that was much better than we expected. Yes you can hear road noise but it wasn't over powering and we slept great. This was just an overnight excursion but we kind of wish we had more time here and we would definitely stay here again when we are in the area!
