Epidemic of Overly Specific Playlists on Youtube

Why are overly specific playlists becoming so popular? We use to just have music for when your sad, need to study, want to relax, go to sleep. Now its become woefully ridiculous. Anyway sorry for the AI voice. I am a horrible video editor skill wise and this is why I am not monetized lol.
